The discussion of northeast people in the outside world is increasing, backwardness and poverty, violence and aggressiveness, low quality and heavy relationship, etc. have become the general comments of the outside world on northeast china and northeast people, and negative regional stereotypes have seriously affected the image and self-esteem of northeast people, which is not conducive to the harmony of intergroup relations. However, what is the perception and attitude of the outside world towards the northeasterners, the perception and response of the northeasterners to discrimination, the causes of negative stereotypes and the future way out? This is what we need to explore. We use the interview method and questionnaire method, using stereotype content model and bias map theory to study the regional stereotypes of foreigners on Northeasterners.
